Start time an issue on Sunday if mass is running past 11:30am.

*Heat in Glowinski Hall still an issue – Neal was going to look into

The committee needs the Council to help promote people to be on this committee as well as others.

Women’s Ministry – Linda Krowsky would like to start something up.  She wants to start out by socializing and getting to know one another first, then with everyone’s input see what the concerns are and then go forward.

“Theatre of the Word”  - Christian Formation is hosting this event at St. Paul’s sometime

in February.  The cost is $1300.00.  A fact sheet on this was passed out to the council.

Collaboration Meeting with St. Veronica’s – Katrin will set up a meeting for Monday, November 17, at 6:30pm in Glowinski Hall.

Faith in our Future – We have only 10 Contact Leaders -  they have 350 people to call

We have the Advanced Commitment Event scheduled for Wednesday, December 10 from 6pm to 7:30pm; 240 invites will be sent out.  Special Event Day will be the weekend of December 13 & 14.

New Business:

Goals for Council – What have we done as a Council thus far this year?  What is our role in getting things done and getting more people involved?   Katrin wanted us to look at our role as a Council and see if we are heading in the right direction and start looking at the remainder of the year.  It was suggested that we put a suggestion box out where people can let us know what they want for our parish.

By-Laws – There is nothing in our by-laws that specifically calls out for the terms on the Committee Chairpersons.  This could help in getting fresh ideas for our Council by having new blood.  The term of a Committee Chairperson should be one year with it being renewed annually.

Father Romanus Report -

Karen Bushman will be undergoing surgery.

Norwich Avenue paving cost came to $950.00

STAA Family Mass – Sunday, November 16

 Meeting adjourned at 8:15pm.

Prayer for December meeting - Katrin
