Human Concerns Committee Report:

Linda Krowsky reported on the Human Concerns Committee.  She had her first meeting and five ladies attended.  She said that they brain stormed and put ideas together on how they want to go forward with the committee as well as starting up a Women’s Ministry group.  Linda had submitted a written report .

Old Business:

Sacred Heart Collaboration – We will have to reschedule our meeting; since there are conflicts with the date we have selected.

Lenten Evangelization – Katrin has developed a flyer that we will put on doors within our immediate area.  This is so that our neighbors know we are here and what we have to offer for Lent this year.

Journey of St. Paul --  We will need to clean up the hall and stage for this event.   We have slated February 15 at 11:30am to get together and clean.

Bulletin Notices -  We need to start thanking people in our parish again for all their hard work.  Sue said she would do one on Jill Wittig for this time.

Faith in our Future -  Father did not have any up to date facts on how we are doing thus far, since he just got back from vacation.

It was noted that Buildings and Grounds had purchased a heater for the small hall – Glowinski Hall.  Redoing our parking lot is still pending.

New Business:

Council Terms – Katrin had listed on the agenda each member of the council and when their terms expire.    We will need to get nominations for 3 new members.  The members who will be leaving are Paul Anderson, Cheryl Kaminski and Katrin Kempowski.

Fr. Romanus Report – Nothing reported

Carla mentioned that there was going to be a special Town Hall meeting at St. Veronica’s on Wednesday, February 11.  The school will be down-sizing to one classroom per grade; except in Kindergarten and 8th grade this next year.

There were issues brought up with the Athletic Association and why there are children playing with less than a 2.0 average in school.  The Athletic Association will be meeting on Saturday, February 14, to discuss this issue.  Carla will be attending this meeting.

Adjournment at 8:00pm.

Next meeting:
