Finance Committee:  We reviewed the Financial Reports provided by the business manager, Patrice.  The next budget is due to the Archdiocese in June which will require individual budgets from committees.  The Finance Committee itself needs to recruit an at large member to chair its committee.

Sacred Heart Collaboration:  Discussion was had about what days of the week work best for us.  Katrin will report to them that Tuesdays or Wednesdays work best, except the first Tuesday & second Wednesday.

Stage Clean up:  We will meet on Sunday Feb 15 following the 10:15 mass to clean the stage and count chairs for the “Journey of St. Paul” production of the following weekend.  We will also help set up chairs on Saturday Feb. 21 for the event.

Evangelization:  Katrin handed out a rough draft of the Lenten/Easter schedule for everyone to review.  Suggestions were given.  She will make changes and e-mail it out again for further review.  She will also contact Joan about setting up a time with the youth to help distribute them.

Bulletin Thanks You’s:  Homework for the next meeting is to come up with names of people to recognize in the bulletin.

Faith In Our Future:  We have received about 73 cards with a commitment of about $63,000, which is about 27% of our goal.  Exact numbers will continue to be reported in upcoming bulletins.

Building & Grounds:

Options for repair will need to be reviewed; festival tent options will need to be taken into consideration.

Council Member Terms:  We reviewed the terms of the current members.  Those whose terms are ending in 2009 need to decide by the next meeting if they are willing to continue for another term.

Fr. Romanus:

Meeting adjourned at 8:15pm.

Next meeting will be February 9th at 6:30pm

Human Concerns committee will be reporting.
